By enrolling in the Pension Plan and Group Insurance Plan, each employer ensures to offer its employees highly competitive benefits with respect to those offered by the major Québec and Canadian organizations. These two plans represent a major portion of the total compensation package for Desjardins employees. In administering these Plans, each employer has the responsibility to see that all communications regarding the Plans reach their employees. It is also up to each employer to establish the eligibility of any given employee to either of the Plans, based on the criteria defined in the official texts approved by the Fédération Board of Directors.
