The Desjardins Group Pension Plan (DGPP) was recently named a finalist in the Communication & Engagement category of the Excellence and Innovation Awards, an international event held as part of the World Pension Summit from November 4 to 6.

This annual competition celebrates best practices in pension plan management worldwide. The DGPP’s submission stood out thanks to its project Live in the present, build your future, a series of authentic video clips featuring plan members who share their journeys, passions, and how the plan contributes to their overall well-being.

This recognition reflects our commitment to innovation, to making the Plan more accessible and understandable through relatable communication, and to highlighting the essential role of a defined benefit pension plan in supporting people’s overall well-being,” says Jolyane S. Pelletier, Manager, Plan Member Services and Communications at the DGPP.

By giving voice to those who benefit from it, the Live in the present, build your future initiative showcases what the DGPP offers most meaningfully: peace of mind. Beyond the numbers, the Plan supports life journeys, contributes to overall well-being, and helps each person move toward a more serene retirement. This recognition illustrates our dedication to building lasting connections with plan members, supporting them with care, and offering a pension plan that enhances their quality of life, today and in the years to come.
